Notice of Closure

As of 30/9/23, Warwickshire Welfare Rights Advice Service has closed permanently. This decision was taken by the Board of Trustees due to a lack of ongoing funding which meant that the organisation was unable to continue providing services to the residents of Coventry, Warwickshire and surrounding areas.

Our track record is remarkable, having, over the last ten years alone, worked with over 11,000 members of the local communities of Warwickshire. We have enabled clients to secure in excess of £20.5 million in additional benefits during this period – all of which has improved the lives of the claimants and their families but also contributed to the local economy too. Since being established in 1986 WWRAS has helped secure additional benefits for local residents totalling £77 million.

We recognise the significant contribution made by local authorities and other funders to enable us to do this valuable work. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our county partners with whom we have worked closely on various projects for a number of years. Your unswerving dedication to a shared goal of improving the lives of local residents through financial inclusion work has been a prime example of exemplary partnership work
